Adding in App functionality into dashboard

so I have the full control-ability to my end devices when I’m using it on the computer. However when I try to do the same but with the app it won’t allow me to change their settings just monitor them. I have found the app key and app secret but I am not sure how to implement these into my code any help will be appricated
