Good Eve! We’re trying to connect our arduino, serially connected to raspberry pi, automatically to Cayenne Devices. Originally we’re running the shell script manually at the terminal but we want it to automatically run at boot-up so we’ve tried using ‘/etc/rc.local’ but still the arduino board can’t connect to Cayenne dashboard automatically…

Can you tell if the script is running, and just not connecting to Cayenne, or if it’s just not running at all? In the first case, I’d be interested in any Serial Monitor output from the Arduino IDE. If it’s not running, here is an alternate method for running scripts at boot that may work for you:
