Cloud failover solution?

I read through a few posts asking about no internet, loss of connection, etc…

It would be nice if the raspberry pi could act as a secondary controller in the event of an internet outage. Where Arduino’s could be slaved to the Pi.

Then once connection is reestablished, the agent files are updated with any changes?

Best regards,
Chris

Hi Chris, welcome to the Cayenne Community!

Do you mean like a local Cayenne server install that you’d run on your home network (something which we’re considering but may be a ways out on our roadmap), or something different?

That would work. I like the idea of the cloud and the connectivity, but if for some reason the internet went down it would nice knowing everything is still running locally for scheduling and triggers.

It would be like a secondary domain controller.
