Rebooting pi after enabling sti

SO I tried to instal my linkerbase board as found here:

However, when I tried to reboot, it is now in the terminal and flashing the cursor after pi@raspeberrypi: (squiggle line)$ _ and under that it says ‘Starting NTP Server’. and there it stays. I have used the sudo config command and set it to log in automatically and display the Desktop, and that is what it was doing prior to enabling the STI.

I am on a Raspberry Pi 3B.

There could honestly be anything going on there. I would start by reversing your steps and if that doesn’t work install a fresh image on the SD card to see if it boots up again.
