I've been tinkering with electronics and computers for the better part of 40 years and in all that time I've learned that if I can keep the smoke inside of the parts where it belongs it's going to be a good day.

Although I'm comfortable tweaking code to meet my interests, I'm not a big fan of writing my own code. Which is one of the reasons I'm very excited about the Cayenne IoT platform, I can get a sensor or actuator up and running and doing things without having to wade through the code myself.

I spent a couple decades in the Army and retired in 2007 and I now work for a large independent oil and gas producer in northern Colorado.
