Use TLS for MQTT

Hi all,

I have just set up the MQTT connection with myDevices.com and it works like charm (publishing). It would be great if there was option to use TLS option with MQTT.

I believe most of the MQTT brokers and client won’t have any problems with it.

I think this has been posted before, but I TLS is definitely a good thing to have. +1 from me

Yeah I believe that would be perfect feature request even I know that TLS is much more resource expensive. But the options which came with it… like client verification based on certificate, significatly improved security. As you said +1.
