Esp8266 without MQTT

Hi
I have successfully used ESP 8266 and linked the data to Cayenne using MQTT. However I find MQTT interferes with my timer library.

Is it possible to link an ESP 8266 to Cayenne without MQTT?

If so how do I do it. Any advice will be appreciated.

what is the issue, you can try using Cayenne.loop(10);
