It would be very good if there was an option that cayenne allows an event to trigger a custom script to run inside Raspberry pi. Is it possible?
Some examples in my daily use:
Mysql
3rd party API to send SMS
In case of internet lost connectivity switch to 3G\4G dongle
Etc.
Thanks

Totally agree with you. And we’re planning to do this. This was brought up back in January so we’ve had some time to prioritize this and get it in backlog. Timeline: likely not for a month or two. This is another feature I’m very excited for.
This may already be part of the planned trigger/scheduling update, but I would really like to have access to customize the actions that take place on a trigger. Ideally as part of the trigger setup there should be an option to create custom python code do do whatever we want it to do instead of predefined functions.
