With the help of Shramik, here is the finished lake depth dashboard component of my dock system. This ties into the notifications and relay controls that run the cable winches to facilitate adjustments to my floating dock’s cables. I am using code that grabs a json file from the dam authority’s api which is sent to my cayenne dashboard. any change plus of minus a foot triggers a notification and adjustment
the check is scheduled to run 4 times a day - as during spring rains the lake can rise as much as 10 feet in 24 hours.
