My Raspberry Pi 3 B not connect remote gpio in Cayenne. Help!

Thank you for taking. My problem is GPIO of Raspberry Pi 3 not select on trigger, In myDevices DashBoard see only Process, temperature and other online, but GPIO is offline for select!!!

Can you send a screenshot of it? Also could you run the command sudo uname -a in the terminal to check your kernel version? It should be 4.4

Very good… your’s the best… sucessfull :sunglasses:

Hi @rausis.kleber.

Welcome to the Cayenne Community. We’ll have an update out for our Raspberry Pi agent that allows compatibility with both the 4.4. and 4.9 kernels in the near future. Just in case you need some help switching to 4.4 until then, you can do this with just one command:

sudo rpi-update 52241088c1da59a359110d39c1875cda56496764

After that runs, you just need to reboot, and you’ll be on the 4.4 kernel. You shouldn’t need to re-install Cayenne at all.

I just wanted to bump this thread to note that we’ve now updated our Pi agent to support the 4.9 kernel (it still supports 4.4 as well). The update was automatic in the background so there is nothing you need to do on your end. Feel free to use rpi-update to move forward to the 4.9 kernel at this point if you’d like!
