Will update in next day or so… As per original top of post photo it used to be simple and automatic but will re test on the existing setup with above thoughts in mind and also a ‘clean’ install of Rasparian in next few days.

Okay all sorted…
Pretty much as expected…
All works again with a clean install
Format Card > Rasparian > Update > Upgrade > Install
Last thing needed is to complete a working remove sensor for the DS18B20.
Can wait for this

I now have a happy Pi 2 Rasparian and Pi B ticking away happily.
I will watch these spaces for a few days then poke it with a stick again and try bending something else !
