First time installer: Waiting for board to connect

Help. I powered up the Arduino Uno with the 5100 Ethernet Shield, USB and Ethernet cables are connected. Library is installed. Authentication code is correct, Windows 10 PC port says COM5 (Arduino/Genuino Uno). All lights are flashing.
Yet, it says Waiting for board to connect…
Serial Monitor is blank.
*** Solved ** I thought I installed the library. But had only downloaded it. It looks like I am connected now.
