I’ve got a strange issue where an Arduino Mega board with an Ethernet shield can connect and run a project, but when I move the Ethernet shield to a Uno or a Nano and load the same sketch, the shield will not connect. As you can see from the time counter at the beginning of the Subject line, the code is continually trying to connect, but fails to get past this point. If I reattach the Mega board, it will run the same code correctly.

Any ideas why I can’t connect the Uno or the Nano?

Hi @brianhight.is what was the problem?

The Ethernet cable wasn’t pushed in fully! The plug clip is broken so I
didn’t notice that it had slipped out slightly.
