Hello to all,
I’m trying to let the Cayenne Libraries working.
I connected the W5100 Ethernet Shield Module to my modem.
I installed the Libraries (they are visible in the Arduino IDE), but when I upload the sketch “Arduino Uno Ethernet Shield W5 100”, this is the output:
In file included from C:\Users\alber\Documents\Arduino\libraries\CayenneMQTT\src/CayenneMQTTEthernetClient.h:21:0,
from C:\Users\alber\Documents\Arduino\libraries\CayenneMQTT\src/CayenneMQTTEthernet.h:25,
from C:\Users\alber\AppData\Local\Temp\arduino_modified_sketch_697077\EthernetShieldW5100.ino:14:
C:\Users\alber\Documents\Arduino\libraries\CayenneMQTT\src/CayenneArduinoMQTTClient.h: In member function ‘void CayenneArduinoMQTTClient::connect()’:

if (!NetworkConnect(&_network, CAYENNE_DOMAIN, CAYENNE_PORT)) {

Where am I wrong?
Thanks
Can you share the code you are using. Make sure you select the correct board and poft.
I’m able to communicate with the arduino alone, so I don’t think the connections are errated.
This is the code, I’ve inserted the right strings instead of the “xxx”.

This example shows how to connect to Cayenne using an Ethernet W5100 shield and send/receive sample data.
The CayenneMQTT Library is required to run this sketch. If you have not already done so you can install it from the Arduino IDE Library Manager.
Steps:
1. Set the Cayenne authentication info to match the authentication info from the Dashboard.
2. Compile and upload the sketch.
3. A temporary widget will be automatically generated in the Cayenne Dashboard. To make the widget permanent click the plus sign on the widget.

#define CAYENNE_DEBUG // Uncomment to show debug messages
#define CAYENNE_PRINT Serial // Comment this out to disable prints and save space
#include <CayenneMQTTEthernet.h>
// Cayenne authentication info. This should be obtained from the Cayenne Dashboard.
char username[] = "xxx";
char password[] = "xxx";
char clientID[] = "xxx";
void setup() {
Serial.begin(9600);
Cayenne.begin(username, password, clientID);
}
void loop() {
Cayenne.loop();
}

//Cayenne.luxWrite(2, 700);
//Cayenne.virtualWrite(3, 50, TYPE_PROXIMITY, UNIT_CENTIMETER);

CAYENNE_LOG("Channel %u, value %s", request.channel, getValue.asString());
//Process message here. If there is an error set an error message using getValue.setError(), e.g getValue.setError("Error message");
}
[RESOLVED] I don’t know why but now it’s working. There is still the warning.
