Bug Filed on 02-19-2016: Pi drop outs

Any news on this issue? I have the same problem. I installed a new Pi (model B+ with most recent Raspbian) a few days ago and everything worked just fine, but every morning when I check it is listed as being offline in the Cayenne system. It is still connected to the Internet though…

Yesterday I restarted the Pi and it got back online, but today it was enough that I started using it (I opened a terminal and began ping’ing a host and then used top to check the CPU usage). I didn’t restart any services…

If I can provice any extra information please don’t hesitate to ask.

Best regards,
Mads

Yes. So we’ve deployed patches on a few users’ Pi’s (@bennyrut @Ian) so we can monitor if our fix actually works. So far, so good.

Whenever you get a chance, think you can PM myself and tdeleanu your login credentials?

@madsdk @bennyrut @ats1080s @Ian @stevev4772 Can you guys check if this issue still occurs? We recently pushed some fixes and I’d like to confirm with you all that it is indeed fixed.

Mine were all offline this morning, I had to restart the services on one and it came back up. The other 3 are having issues, but I thinking they are more connectivity issues.

I have done a fresh install on a Pi2 and will monitor it for drop outs.

Thank you Benny!

Its back online now…I didn’t do anything.

Well, this is good news. I’ll check back in tomorrow just to be sure.

I don’t think I’ve restarted any of the RPi’s in a couple of days. A very pleasant surprise.

thank you,
