The one thing that is missing for me is an X10 CM19A interface. I’m working on a home automation project and wish to use a Raspberry Pi and an USB Firecracker Transceiver Model CM19A to send and receive control signals with X10 modules.
Is this possible with Cayenne and I’ve just overlooked it? If not, is there any plan to develop it? If not, can users develop their own devices for Cayenne?

Welcome to the Cayenne Community. We will be stream lining the process for bringing any device you want into Cayenne. We’re not there yet, but we have a work around process. If it’s okay with you, I’ll email you directly with the documentation to get started developing your own device driver!

Yes, please do. This weekend I got mochad working on one of my pi’s. I need to get Cayenne going again. I’m really interested in developing modules.
Keen to know how the build your own driver thing is going to work…
Esp if it allows some custom variables into and out of Cayenne.
