I’m planning to build a pet feeder automation for my pets any IDEAS regarding feeding scheduling and monitoring? and the amounts of food per schedule?..

I feed my dog at 8am and 5pm, and the quantity of food depends on the season. Feed him less or more depending on activity and weather.
So you need to figure it out per pet, and maybe have a rfid tag or something to identify the pet and give him the portion meant for him.

Good input @kreggly. @clyddrixx if you have a Pi or Arduino then Cayenne would be an ideal solution I would think. Not sure where you are on your project, but we’d love to see what you have so far, or perhaps a finished project once it gets up and running.
